Workshop Schedule and Itinerary:
All workshop schedules and plans are tentative and made in the interest of exciting photographic opportunities. I reserve the right to change, at my exclusive discretion, schedules, plans and itineraries, depending on weather, health or safety considerations, or any other factor related or not related to the photographic opportunities, as I see them fit into the workshop.
While significant efforts will be made to present the workshop in a truthful manner, all participants acknowledge that wildlife viewing, flowers in bloom, foliage colors, iced or running water, snow level or any other environmental conditions that might be advertised as the highlight of the workshop cannot be guaranteed.

As there is always an element of risk in any adventure associated with the outdoors including, but not limited to, bodily injury, death, illness, loss or damage to personal property, participants must read this form carefully. Booking a workshop will certify that the participant is physically fit and capable of participating in outdoor photography exercises in field locations, and is fully and completely aware of any associated risks created by field locations and weather.
Meeting times, meeting places and itinerary are subject to changes dictated by the weather, the road conditions and other imponderable variables that are part of doing nature and landscape photography.
Irish Coast Photography (also trading as Clew Bay Photo Courses), Kerstin Hellmann, is not responsible for any other costs which participants may have incurred, including but not limited to travel, car rental, lodging, insurance, photographic purchases and/or rentals.
Frequently Asked Questions
How fit do I have to be to take part?
We will drive as close as possible to every destination. There will be some short to medium long walks (up to 5km/3miles) along roads, paths and uneven ground, such as rocks, beaches, bogs and woodlands while carrying all the photo equipment. Therefor a normal level of fitness is required.
How old do I have to be to take part?
If booking alone, the participant must be 18 and over. Booking together with an adult, the participant must be 14 and over.
Can I bring my non participating partner/spouse along?
Yes, they are more than welcome to join the photo trips during the day to enjoy the stunning landscapes and sceneries while the participant takes their pictures. A 75% reduction will be offered for a non-participating partner/spouse.
Do I need insurance?
It's always best to get travel insurance in case of cancellation. In case of cancellation from my side, a full refund will be issued. If cancelled from your side, up to two weeks prior workshop, a 50% refund will be issued. For cancellations less than two weeks the refund will be 25%. No refund will be issued for any cancellation less than one week.
Also, in case of an injury/illness, it is your responsibility to pay for your treatment. Without travel insurance it can become very costly, especially, if you have to be transported home abroad.
Can we bring our young children too?
Yes, but only if a non-participating person can look after the child/children during the workshop.
Do I have to bring my own camera?
Yes, as it is easier to learn the camera settings on your own camera, rather than on mine. Each camera has their buttons and settings in different places and some cameras do not have the same features as others.
If you own a Canon camera you might be able to borrow lenses, flash guns or remote trigger releases from me, if they fit your model.
